Treatment Philosophy

I am a strong believer in an active approach to rehab and believe that collaboration between the patient and healthcare provider is key to good outcomes. I think staying active throughout our lives is one the best things we can possibly do for ourselves. My biggest goal is always to get people back to doing whatever their goals are and I enjoy finding creative ways to help get people back to doing what they love. Having had my fair share of injuries, I know how frustrating it can be to feel limited or unable to do what you love to do, so I strive to make sure anyone I work with knows I am here to support them and help be a guide along the process. I think it is important to keep track of the small “wins” throughout the process of rehab as these small wins often add up to something much bigger overtime.

Through my clinical experiences in school, I had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of different populations ranging from post-stroke rehab all the way up to collegiate and professional level athletes. I enjoy working with all different types of people and believe that taking an individualized approach to rehab allows us to make sure the rehab we do matches the demands of what it is the individual wants to go back to doing.

Personal Interests

I enjoy being active outside of work. I enjoy training for and have competed in multiple powerlifting competitions. Being from Ohio originally, I am a big Ohio State and Cleveland sports fan! I also love the outdoors and often spend the weekends going hiking and exploring new areas. I’m new to Washington and am excited to explore all this state has to offer!
