Treatment Philosophy

I strongly believe the human body is resilient, adaptable, and responds significantly well to loading along with movement. The longer we stay active and moving, the healthier life we will have. We are all prone to injury regardless of how well we treat our bodies. As an athlete, I know that injuries sometimes seem to derail our lives. The last thing anyone wants to hear is that they have to give up doing something they love. I love finding where someone’s dysfunction comes from, teaching them why they may be experiencing pain, and keeping them doing what they enjoy. Through education comes understanding of how differently our bodies can respond to pain and injury. Empowering people how to fix their pain is the most gratifying part of being a physical therapist.

Personal Interests

Outside of the clinic I love spending time with my 2 fur children, Max and Rizzo. You can also find me in the gym, hiking, wake surfing, attending sporting events, or concerts. I grew up living and breathing softball, playing in college as well as coaching travel teams and at a local community college. Recently, I have started snowboarding and looking forward to spending more time in the mountains through the winter months.
